A few weeks ago with got word that Swegways have been banned in London.
After that, though we’ve been informed that the law isn’t actually enforced (yet), and that coppers will usually leave you be, unless you’re really obnoxious and you’re riding your swegway in Oxford Circus at rush hour.
In general, police officers have exhibited the same reaction to swegways as everybody else: curiosity and amusement. Some of them are even cool enough to try them out!
