Forget all the Lyft, Bird, Lime, Skip and Spin scooters – if you actually want to use your electric scooter to commute, you’ll need something with a lot more oomph.
Electric scooters are a great form of transportation, but there are some limitations: if you’re a larger person or you live in a “hilly” town, your weight may negatively affect performance, or prevent you from riding an electric scooter altogether.
Those problems need not concern you with the electric scooters presented here: these are the most powerful, fastest electric scooters on the market. They feature big frames, big wheels and most importantly, big batteries.
Why it’s Good to Have the Fastest Electric Scooter Possible
As you know, electric scooters are not toys anymore. Riding an electric scooter around town means that you’re subjected to the same kinds of dangers that a pedestrian or a moped would be exposed to. If you’re in a situation where a car hasn’t seen you or you’re getting stuck between two vehicles, having the ability to hit 50mph can save your neck. This is obviously true to anyone who’s used an electric scooter to commute to work, for example.

1. Uberscoot 1600W 48V

- Motor: 1600 Watt
- Battery: SLA 12V x4 (48V System)
- Max Speed: 30 Mph (speed limit wire disconnected)
- Max Range: 12 Miles
- Max Weight Capacity: 265 lbs
- Seat: Included, quick release
- Scooter Weight: 70 lbs
If power is what you need, the Uberscoot has you covered. This scooter has a powerful 1600W motor and a 48V battery. This is the only scooter in this article with a SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) battery. While this technology is nowhere near as good as Lithium-Ion, it means that you can get a scooter this powerful for a pretty cheap price. And if that still bothers you, you can always grab a Li-Ion battery pack and replace the SLA battery.
The Uberscoot is a great commuter scooter, but bear in mind that it’s heavy and it does require some work to adjust the transmission chain, especially at the beginning. The Uberscoot’s top speed is 20mph, but if you disconnect the speed limiter wire, it will go up to 30mph.
Another bonus is that the Uberscoot comes with a removable seat, which makes this scooter an even better bargain.
2. QIEWA Q1Hummer

- Motor: 800 Watt
- Battery: 26 Ah Li-Ion
- Max Speed: 37 Mph
- Max Range: 65 Miles
- Max Weight Capacity: 550 lbs
- Seat: No
- Scooter Weight: 55 lbs
The QIEWA Q1Hummer is one of the fastest scooters available on the market. It’s well-known, durable and fast. This scooter packs an enormous Lithium-Ion battery, as well as modern electronics to manage the charge and discharge of the pack. This means that the battery will retain its capacity much longer than, say, the Uberscoot. There are accounts of the scooter being still perfect after putting 600 miles on it. For an electric scooter, that’s a lot.
I especially like the simple and functional LCD screen. This electric scooter is extremely fast with its top speed of 37Mph on the highest speed setting. Definitely recommended for commuters.
3. NANROBOT D4+

- Motor: Dual 1000 Watt
- Battery: 23.4Ah 52V Li-Ion
- Max Speed: 40 Mph
- Max Range: 45 Miles
- Max Weight Capacity: 330 lbs
- Seat: No
- Scooter Weight: 55 lbs
The NANROBOT D4+ puts us squarely in “monster” territory. This scooter is scary fast. The massive battery pack and the dual 1000W motors provide insane amounts of power. While this scooter can get to 40 Mph, I was able to reach that speed once. It’s pretty unstable and God forbid you may need to stop: the ABS system (like the one in your car) is by default turned to the HIGH setting. This will make the dual disc brakes try to stop you as fast as possible. Whether you flip or not, is your problem. So I’d definitely recommend playing with the settings or turning off the ABS system entirely.
It’s also important to note that using both motors, you’ll likely only get around 15 miles of range. To get 45 miles you will have to use only one motor in ECO mode, making the scooter much slower.
4. Jueshuai

- Motor: Dual 1600 Watt
- Battery: 23.4Ah 52V Li-Ion
- Max Speed: 50 Mph
- Max Range: 62 Miles
- Max Weight Capacity: 660 lbs
- Seat: No
- Scooter Weight: 80 lbs
The Jueshuai scooter is one of the fastest electric scooters ever made. The massive 60V 35Ah Li-ion battery pack will push the dual 1600W motors to insane speeds, upwards of 50 Mph. That’s totally bananas.
While the Jueshuai is much more spartan than the NANROBOT, it has one killer feature: the front fork suspension. All the other fast electric scooters have small spring shock absorbers, and having a pneumatic fork suspension that’s as large as a mountain bike’s certainly makes a difference in the stability of your ride. You will actually be able to go a little faster on the Jueshuai because of this.
The battery is massive and lasts a long time. Just know that you won’t be carrying this thing with you if you’re not riding it: it weights close to 80 lbs.
5. QIEWA QPOWER – The Fastest Electric Scooter of 2026

- Motor: Dual 1600 Watt
- Battery: 26Ah 52V Li-Ion
- Max Speed: 55 Mph
- Max Range: 62 Miles
- Max Weight Capacity: 660 lbs
- Seat: No
- Scooter Weight: 81 lbs
Let me put it simply: the QIEWA QPOWER is the fastest electric scooter on the market bar none. It features two massive 1600W motors that will take even the heaviest rider up and down hills no problem. While the build quality can be spotty, QIEWA’s customer support is actually really responsive. The main gripe I have with this scooter is its weight: this monster is 81 lbs! That’s obviously not good if you’re planning to carry this up some stairs into your office building, but it’s also one of the reasons the QPOWER is so stable at high speeds. When you’re doing 55 Mph on an electric scooter, the heft of the frame will avoid any shaking. Heck, even if it could go that fast, a Lime scooter would probably snap in half.
So, in short, if all you care about in your electric scooter is sheer speed, the QIEWA QPOWER is the best choice for you.
